Human Energy Body
The human energy body is a subtle map of life force, consciousness and inner regulation found across Yoga, Tantra, Taoism, Qabbala and shamanic traditions.

In yogic philosophy, this life force is called prana. It is understood as the subtle current behind breath, movement, emotion, perception, thought and embodied awareness.
Subtle Anatomy
Ancient traditions describe this inner anatomy through channels, centers, fields, layers and currents of consciousness.
- Yoga: pranic body, nadis, chakras, koshas, vayus, kundalini.
- Taoism: qi body, meridians, dantians, inner circulation.
- Tibetan Tantra: subtle body, channels, winds, essence.
- Qabbala: soul-energy body, Tree of Life, Sephiroth.
- Shamanism: luminous body, assemblage point, dream body.
Somatic View
From the Somatic Shaking™ perspective, many energetic experiences can also be explored through the nervous system, fascia, breath, tremor, interoception and embodied awareness.
Energy becomes practical when it is felt directly as sensation, vibration, warmth, breath, movement, release and aliveness.
